SR1, is a 501(c)3 non-profit located in Ridgeland, Mississippi that is dedicated to eliminating disparities in health, education, and technology through research and partnerships.

SR1’s Agriculture and Food Science Department offers free research-based practices to assist farmers, scientists and consumers with farm to table applications. Through Community Oriented Opportunities for Learning (C.O.O.L™), SR1 Agriculture and Food Science Department provides resources that targets food equity and security for communities who have historically-faced discrimination.
